Sandhya Varghese

Dr. Sandhya Alice Varghese joined the team as a Postdoctoral Associate in Spring 2024 and focuses on triggerably degradable polymers for single use plastics. She holds a Doctor of Engineering (D.Eng.) degree in Materials and Production Engineering from King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok (KMUTNB), Thailand (2022). She has further honed her expertise through Postdoctoral fellowship at Department of Packaging and Materials Technology, Kasetsart University, Thailand under the prestigious “Reinventing University Program.” (2023).She made contributions to the scientific community with several publications in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals, as well as book chapters. Dr.Sandhya's research mainly focus on the development of eco-friendly polymer packaging as a sustainable solution for greener future. Other than her academic enthusiasm, Sandhya enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
