Marialis Kwak is an NSF REU student working in the Fullerton lab during the summer of 2024. She will graduate spring 2025 from the University at Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering. Her REU summer research focused on characterizing epitaxial graphene for 2D metal catalyst applications. Outside of the classroom, Marialis competes on her university’s Division I swim and dive team. In her free time, she enjoys watching F1, exercising, and hanging out with friends.
