Jierui (Jerry) Liang (PhD, Pitt, 2020) earned his B.Sc in Chemistry in 2012 from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and then earned a MS in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University in 2015. His PhD research involved nanoelectronic devices that use transition metal dichalcogenides and other 2D materials. Jerry is currently a postdoc at the U.of Minnesota. Outside the lab, he loves winter sports, history, traveling and playing guitar.
