  • Undergraduate Researcher

Jeirus Jose is a senior physics undergraduate at San Francisco State University who completed an NSF-REU summer research experience in the Fullerton lab.  He is working on a project in collaboration with Prof Jenny Laaser in Chemistry at Pitt.  The Fullerton and Laaser labs are teaming up to study the properties of a new type of ionic liquid, with the goal of imparting new device characteristics in field-effect transistors made from two-dimensional crystals.  When not in the lab, Jeirus enjoys cooking, exploring Pittsburgh, and sports.
