Carlan Gray, a PhD student and Covestro Circular Economy Fellow since Fall 2023, earned his Master's degree in Chemistry and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Duquesne University. With over four years of research experience studying macromolecules at Duquesne, Carlan shifted his focus to engineering sustainable plastics through a collaborative project led by Dr. Susan Fullerton and Dr. Eric Beckman. Outside the lab, he enjoys engaging in outdoor activities, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.
